LifeVac Research

Apart from its own studies and testing, the LifeVac® has been studied in the literature.

Publications

"A response to a single cadaver study assessing the efficacy of two commercially available devices for airway foreign body relief"

Read our evidenced response published in an international, peer-reviewed journal to a deeply flawed study that tried to prove that LifeVac® is ineffective, but failed miserably.

First National Health Service Evaluation

The NHS in the UK has commenced a trial of the LifeVac® Airway Clearance Device. Early results have been very positive with multiple lives saved already after first aid failed.

Global Research Project

Device researchers have conducting a study looking at the benefits and harms (pros and cons) of using airway clearance devices (ACDs) on someone who is choking.
This included 10 years of usage data. The results have now been published in an international, peer-reviewed journal (The Journal of Paediatric Critical Care). The conclusions of the research was that the LifeVac® is safe and effective and should be part of first aid practice.
