The LifeVac mission is to alleviate any death or injury from choking.
You and your business can help by donating a LifeVac to a local school or community organisation.

Reader warning: The stories below are about children who tragically lost their lives to choking emergencies. Their families have given permission for LifeVac Australia to share their stories, in loving memory of these beautiful children, with the hope that similar tragedies can be prevented.

A loving 5-year-old, Imogen choked on a cocktail frankfurt while travelling home from swimming practice in the back seat of her family car.
No ambulance was available, and although Imogen's mother was experienced in first aid, all her efforts, and those of the local hospital staff, failed to save Imogen.

Imogen's Mission
Imogen's Misson is a children's choking awareness and grief support group, created in memory of young Imogen.

Decklan was a happy 7-year-old who choked on a cocktail frankfurt at a school near Orange, NSW.
Despite the desperate efforts of first aid trained teachers and paramedics, he was unable to be saved.
To this day, the NSW Education Minister has refused to acknowledge that the risk of choking in schools is real and needs to be addressed.

ZaZa was only 22 months old when he choked on a simple grape at a family beach outing in Perth. His father tried desperately to save him, but he died in his father’s arms.

ZaZa's Law
ZaZa's family are advocating for change to signage and packaging to warn of the danger of choking on small food items (like grapes) with the hope that no other family should have to endure such a tragic loss.
