How to use the LifeVac

Unwrap mask and discard coloured plastic ring (if any)

Insert mask into the unit with a twisting motion while applying pressure. Make sure that you check mask to ensure it is attached to the unit firmly.

1. Place the mask over nose and mouth

Make sure there is a good seal (see instructions on sizing and sealing)

2. Push the handle to compress the bellows

While holding the mask over the nose and mouth with one hand push the handle toward the person to deflate the bellows. This does not require any significant force.

3. Pull the handle up

Using a swift action, pull the device handle up, away from the person to create a suction force.

Remove any debris from the person mouth or inside the mask

Repeat these steps until the obstruction is removed.
